DESIGN PROCESS IN DETAIL

INITIAL questionnaire:
Before the consultation, it helps me to do some homework. Please fill out this questionnaire so I have a good understanding of where to begin for our first consultation.

For our consultation I will ask you to bring or post on Pinterest pictures/magazine cuttings of your favorite rooms and anything else that .
STEP 1: Consultation
My Design Consultation is what I like to refer to as the “Getting to Know You” session. During our first meeting we cover:
-
The scope of your project in detail
-
Your tastes, preferences, likes, dislikes, style and lifestyle
-
Budget
-
Design Process and Agreement
-
Questions or concerns.
I’ll ask lots of questions and I will have a book of the pictures and magazines so we can clarify your style. It’s best to work out your finances and set an overall budget before you begin the project. If you are unsure about where to begin, I will work with you to determine your goals and set a realistic budget for your space.

We will review the Design Process in detail, as indicated in this document, and go over a sample Agreement so you know how things will precede every step of the way. We will address any questions you might have about our series or about your project.

STEP 2: Data gathering
The second meeting will cover be the data gathering session. Measurements will be taken either by you (if it is remote) or by me within your space.

STEP 3: Design Concept
This is the design phase, where I take back all the information I've gathered and develop your room concept. During this 2-3 week time period, I will work on developing the concept board, floor plan layout, create your shopping list, and post your personalized webpage with your finished room design package.

STEP 4: Presentation and Wrap-Up
At presentation time, we will cover the concept and moodboard, color swatches and furniture/decor shopping list. I'm open to all questions and feedback because I want you to be absolutely happy with your new room!
